Delight in grilled lobster tails, bathed in a lemon, garlic and parsley butter. An impressive dish for an elegant dinner party.

Ingredients

  • Lobster tails, preferably thawed if frozen
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup (half a stick) unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Cooking Seafood at Home

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Using a sharp knife, split the lobster tails lengthwise and remove the intestinal vein if necessary. Pat the lobster tails dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush the lobster tails with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Place the lobster tails on the hot grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and lightly golden.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
  6. Add the finely chopped garlic to the melted butter and cook gently for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
  7. Stir in the chopped parsley, cilantro, and thyme to the melted butter. Cook for an additional minute.
  8. Remove the saucepan from the heat and squeeze the lemon juice over the herb butter. Mix well.
  9. Once the lobster tails are done, serve them hot with the herb butter drizzled over the top.
  10. Enjoy your delicious grilled lobster with herb butter and serve it with your favorite sides!
